For those who like engineering and mechanical stuff (like me!) I have something you'll enjoy. Some days ago I came across with this Ugears project... and I was totally fascinated!! These guys make amazing designs that you can assemble on your own and results seem to be just lovely. In addition, the project is very inspiring; combining a traditional material like wood with new affordable laser-cut technologies they managed to build up a very attractive startup. I wish them the best (and I'm lready looking forward to have one of their models in my hands :P)

Amazing video showing the new possibilites that 3D-printing techology offers to magnetic design. Since most of my research is related to magnetism I find these things absolutely amazing!!
