Here you can find a non-organized mixture of other things that I find interesting. Apart from science I love engineering, 3D printing, design, food (and cooking), music and sport.
Vicenç Ferrer was a Jesuit missionary that spent all his life helping the most disadvantaged people. Last year I started to sponsor a child in India through the foundation he stablished; Fundación Vicente Ferrer. I truly recommend to have a look at the biography of its founder and the history behind this amazing project. There are hundreds of initiatives that I could support much closer to my home, so makes sense to ask why I'm supporting this particular one. The answer is that I'm absolutely amazed and moved by what Vicenç Ferrer did. I hope you find it as moving and inspirational as I found :-)
You can get a feeling of my musical tastes with my dance and jazz Spotify lists. I keep them updated and I just add any song that I like, so I suggest that you sort them by date, most recent first ;-)
A good question someone made me some time ago: "As a scientist, how would you define art?" Although I have not yet a good answer, I recommend to take a look at Colossal. Definitely, they know what art is!!
El Celler de Can Roca is a catalan restaurant holding 3 Michelin stars that has been considered the best restaurant in the world for some years. Although the experience of having a meal there is out of the reach for many of us, you can have a "cool" taste of Roca brothers mastery in their ice cream shop Rocambolesc. Lemon-basil-green apple, parmesan, olive oil and toasted bread or roses are only some of the flavours you'll find! And now they have just opened a shop in Barcelona, next to the Liceu theater... Enjoy!! :-)
